How is financial need determined?

The 101: Fund offers tuition scholarships to students who demonstrate substantial financial need. The 101: Fund strives to help students close the gap between familial contributions and institutional financial aid. Qualifying recipients may receive up to $12,000 in total; this is the maximal scholarship award for students attending two- or four-year institutions. All scholarships are sent directly to the colleges or universities attended by 101: Fund recipients.

What do I need to apply?

-
Most recent transcript from the PHS Guidance Department. Grades are not a primary factor in the awarding of scholarships.
-

-

-
One letter of recommendation from a PHS teacher; a second letter may also be submitted
-
The 101: Fund strongly encourages applicants to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible. Click here for the current application. Filling out the FAFSA will help you find out if you qualify to receive state and/or federal aid for your college education!
