Scholarship Terms

You must formally accept your scholarship by 1) logging into the portal and signing the required document(s) and 2) uploading a bill for the 2024-25 school year. Once these two conditions have been met, the 101: Fund will send your scholarship payment directly to your college/university.

The 101: Fund sends scholarship payments directly to your school at the address you provide.

Your scholarship must be used during the 2024-2025 school year.

You may apply for additional funds in subsequent years as a returning student.

Returning students must still prove financial need, submit the required documentation, and demonstrate a cumulative 2.0 grade point average (GPA).

The 101: Fund does not pay for summer school.
Additional information for RETURNING students from PHS Classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023:

The 101: Fund helps cover the gap that financial aid and other sources do not fund. If your financial need decreases because you receive more financial aid from your school in later years,the 101: Fund will adjust the amount sent to your school based on the remaining gap.

Failure to renew your scholarship for four consecutive semesters will result in the closing of your scholarship.

Schedule and take course placement tests before the fall

Recipients will be assigned a 101: Fund mentor

Recipients are strongly encouraged to meet with a MCCC Success Advisor
